Jonathan Dunford is the Administrator of Barclay Surgery Center and serves as President of the Michigan Ambulatory Surgery Association, representing 79 member facilities across the state. He brings deep ASC operations experience, having previously served as Administrator at Detroit Children’s Surgery Center within the Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers network, with earlier roles spanning Cleveland Clinic, SCA Health, and Michigan Orthopaedic Surgeons. His work focuses on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and policy advocacy on behalf of Michigan’s ambulatory surgery community. He holds an MBA and MHA from the University of Michigan and a BS in Business Management from Brigham Young University.

Jessica Rodriguez, MBA, CASC, is the First Vice President of the Michigan Ambulatory Surgery Association (MASA) and serves on the Board of Directors for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA), representing ambulatory surgery centers at both the state and national levels. She is the Executive Director of OAM Surgery Center at MidTowne, where she leads strategic initiatives focused on operational excellence, physician engagement, quality improvement, and organizational growth. A frequent national speaker and advocate for ambulatory surgery, Jessica is passionate about advancing patient-centered care, shaping healthcare policy, and fostering innovation that strengthens the ASC industry.

After earning a bachelor’s degree and completing graduate coursework at the University of Michigan, Raymond Slawski spent 15 years working as a Project Manager in the construction industry. Motivated by a changing economy, he pursued a second degree in Nursing in 2009. While working full-time, he completed his nursing degree and launched a new career in the operating room as a Circulating Nurse.

In 2018, a group of surgeons invited Raymond to lead the development of a new ambulatory surgery center as its Administrator. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Michigan Outpatient Surgical Solutions successfully expanded, opening its second operating room in 2021. Under his leadership, the surgery center has experienced consistent year-over-year growth in both patient volume and revenue.

Raymond is committed to continuing to advance the success of Michigan Outpatient Surgical Solutions while fostering excellence in patient care and operational leadership. Throughout his career, he has also enjoyed 30 years of marriage and the privilege of raising his wonderful twins.

Tricia Wollam is the administrator of Alliance Surgery Center in Traverse City. A passionate advocate for independent ambulatory surgery centers, Tricia is actively engaged in advancing the ASC industry through leadership, education, and advocacy. She is recognized for her collaborative leadership style, commitment to continuous improvement, and dedication in developing innovative solutions that improve efficiency, quality and access to ambulatory care.

Montana Dickerson has been a registered nurse for 10 years, building a career marked by progressive leadership and a commitment to exceptional patient care. She began her nursing career on a Neuro Step-Down Unit before transitioning to the Neurotrauma ICU, where she developed a passion for high-acuity care and collaborative teamwork in fast-paced environments.

After several years providing bedside care, Montana moved into leadership roles, first serving as an Assistant Manager on a Cardiac Step-Down Unit and later as Manager of a Gastrointestinal (G.I.) Unit. These experiences strengthened her dedication to developing high-performing teams, supporting staff growth, and enhancing the quality of patient care.

Two years ago, Montana assumed her current role as Director of a G.I. Ambulatory Surgery Center. She embraced the opportunity to lead in a new setting and continues to grow professionally while learning from colleagues and advancing the center’s success.

In 2025, Montana joined the Michigan Ambulatory Surgery Association (MASA) Board of Directors to expand her professional network, collaborate with fellow leaders, and contribute to the advancement of ambulatory surgery through shared knowledge and innovation.

Jen Vallier is an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) executive with more than 22 years of experience leading operations, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, strategic growth, and physician collaboration within the ambulatory surgery industry. She currently serves as Immediate Past President of the Michigan Ambulatory Surgery Association (MASA) Board of Directors and is passionate about advancing the ASC industry through collaboration, advocacy, education, and leadership. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to helping surgery centers strengthen operational excellence while fostering cultures of patient safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

As Founder and Principal Consultant of Baseline to Excellence Consulting, LLC, Jen partners with ambulatory surgery centers to provide practical guidance in regulatory compliance, accreditation and Medicare certification readiness, quality assessment and performance improvement (QAPI), governance, credentialing, operational assessments, leadership development, and educational programming. Her consulting approach emphasizes sustainable systems that not only meet regulatory requirements but also build organizational confidence and long-term success.

Prior to founding Baseline to Excellence Consulting, Jen served in executive leadership roles within Michigan ambulatory surgery centers, overseeing multi-specialty ASC operations, facility expansion projects, strategic initiatives, physician partnerships, and quality programs. She is known for translating complex regulatory requirements into practical, achievable solutions and for mentoring leaders across the ASC community.

Through her involvement with MASA and other professional organizations, Jen enjoys collaborating with surgery center professionals across Michigan and throughout the country to advance best practices, strengthen quality and patient safety, and support the continued growth of the ambulatory surgery industry.

Jen earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is a Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC). She remains committed to supporting ASC leaders and organizations as they strive to move from baseline performance to operational excellence.
